Step 1: Preheat oven and line a baking sheet with parchment paper. Then, beat the egg whites until foamy in a large bowl with an electric whisk. Step 2: Add the molasses and vanilla to the egg whites and beat for another 30 seconds. Step 3: Add the pecan halves to the bowl and toss until the nuts are fully coated.

Put the nuts, sugar and water in a medium, nonstick pot. On medium heat, start cooking the mixture (while stirring constantly) until the water evaporates and the sugar clumps together. Before the sugar clumps together, add the the gingerbread spice, vanilla extract and a pinch of salt and stir until the coating on the nuts solidifies.

Fry the donuts and drain them on paper towels. With a spoon or piping bag, apply glaze to warm donuts and enjoy!
